Armando Sadiku underwent surgery on the torn cruciate ligament of his left knee yesterday afternoon. Surgical intervention went as planned and was performed by Dr. Ernesto Fernández at the Quiron clinic of Valencia, Spain. If one recalls, Armando Sadiku fell wounded in action clashing for the Granota colors during the “friendly” match last Saturday. The fixture confronted Levante against Heerenveen at Abe Lenstra Stadium. As much as he wanted, the Albanian attacker could not return to combat due to the extent of his injury. Sadiku had to withdraw halfway through the second half. He has an estimated six-month recovery period ahead of him.
