Levante UD medical team report that Samu is suffering from a lateral ligament sprain in his left knee, which will keep him off the pitch for between 6 and 8 weeks.

The Levante player felt pain during the training session yesterday at Buñol Training Ground which forced him to retire early and this morning he underwent medical tests which confirmed his injury.
