Carlos Álvarez will always remember yesterday's match against Girona FC as he scored his first goal in LALIGA EA SPORTS. The Sevillian player netted the second goal for Levante UD in their victory over Girona FC, achieving one of his dreams and celebrating the three points earned at Montilivi.

“We had been working hard over the past weeks and the team really deserved to secure the first three points of the season,” commented Carlos Álvarez at the end of the training session held at the Ciudad Deportiva. The player also highlighted the defensive solidity shown by the granota team. “It's important that we build from the back, that everyone is involved defensively and that we help each other. In the end, that allows us to keep a clean sheet and brings us closer to achieving the victories we are striving for,” he stated.

Carlos Álvarez continues to fulfill his dreams, and yesterday, one of them came true as he scored his first goal in the top division: “It's a dream, since I was a child, I had been aiming to score a goal in the First Division. Hopefully, there will be many more, but the most important thing is the team, that we all help each other by contributing our bit, and from there, we form a strong unit and continue growing by leaps and bounds.”

Levante UD returned to training this morning to prepare for their next match against Real Madrid, which will take place on Tuesday at 9:30 PM at the Ciutat de València Stadium. Looking ahead to this match, the player is clear that the support of the fans will be key: “It's important that the fans are with us and I'm sure the atmosphere will be amazing.” Regarding the mindset with which the team will approach the game, Carlos Álvarez assured, “we have to fight every match as if it were the last, giving every last drop of sweat.”
