Levante UD made a statement and returned to victory at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium. The Granotas defeated Sevilla FC in a very solid match, decided by goals from Iker Losada, Carlos Espí, and Carlos Álvarez, and supported by the decisive figure of Ryan in goal.

The first clear chance of the match was for the home team. After eight minutes, Alexis forced Ryan to intervene with a header. Levante's response came quickly with a good combination between Kareem Tunde, Pablo Martínez, and Iker Losada, although the Galician's shot went wide. Luís Castro's team showed a solid image, well-positioned on the pitch, closing spaces, and looking to create danger with their attacks. After the half-hour mark, Sevilla FC tried again with a dangerous cross from Oso that Ryan deflected with a great save. When it seemed the first half would end goalless, Levante UD found their reward. In added time of the first half, an excellent collective play between Kareem, Iván Romero, and Iker Losada ended with a cross-shot from Losada himself to open the scoring and net his first goal as a Granota.

After the break, Sevilla FC came out determined to find the equalizer. B. Mendy had a clear chance, but once again Ryan appeared to maintain the visitors' lead. The home team pressed, but Levante UD remained solid in defense and struck effectively again. Carlos Espí took advantage of a ball inside the area to score the second Granota goal and mark his debut goal in the top division.

The final moments could have been complicated when, in injury time, the referee awarded a penalty to Sevilla FC after a VAR review. Isaac Romero took the penalty, but Ryan became the hero with a spectacular double save, first stopping the shot and then the follow-up. Far from settling, Levante UD pushed for more and found the definitive reward. Carlos Álvarez, after receiving a through pass from Kervin Arriaga, finished with quality to seal the 0-3 and secure a valuable victory that boosts the confidence of the Levante team.
