Levante UD has shared its traditional New Year's greeting video with a piece full of symbolism, emotion, and a sense of belonging. The story is built from María's perspective on New Year's Eve, as she prepares the grapes before the chimes.

The video stars María Santamans García, a club member, who attends the stadium with her family and, most especially, with her father, Paco Santamans. Each grape that María picks from the bunch becomes a wish, a memory, or a hope, intertwining intimate images of her daily life as a granota with significant moments experienced by Levante UD throughout the year that is ending.

The first grape opens the video with a simple and profound wish: to continue enjoying the best football alongside her father, accompanied by images of the two arriving hand in hand at the Ciutat de València. From there, the journey progresses through the excitement of never losing the desire to cheer for the team, the celebrated successes—like Alharilla's goal against FC Barcelona—and the inevitable dose of luck that is also part of the game, represented in actions that came close to scoring.

The video dedicates several bunches to essential values of Levante spirit: effort, speed, dedication, and shared celebration. Goals from the men's and women's first teams are mixed with images of María in the stands, shouting the goals like one of the crowd, symbolizing the unity between fans and the team.

The eleventh grape introduces one of the video's most profound messages: solidarity and mutual support. The images recall how the Levante spirit has risen in difficult times, from the solidarity response after the DANA to the tributes to the club's memory and roots, with the figure of Ballester in Paris, including the act of support for Delia Bullido García on October 19th on the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Day.

The twelfth and final grape concludes the message by focusing on what is essential: sharing football with the best family possible. María appears in the center of the field at the Ciutat de València and, looking at the camera, delivers the final message that sums up the spirit of the piece:

“To 2026, granota family. Happy New Year to everyone.”

With this video, Levante UD bids farewell to the year, reaffirming its identity as a club that goes beyond sports, focusing on its people, its history, and the values that unite the entire granota family.
