The club has confirmed the renewal of Héctor Rodas and Jose Gila as heads of the technical area of the entity in the men's section, a move that consolidates their positions as sporting director and technical secretary, respectively, until 2028. 

With this decision, the Board of Directors reaffirms its confidence in the work carried out by both professionals during the last season, valuing the management of resources and the implementation of a methodology aligned with the entity's objectives.

Continuity in sports management

The club consolidates its position in sports management and the technical secretariat, as the combination of both profiles has strengthened the structure of the technical area during more than a year and a half of joint management.

Rodas and Gila bring complementary skills that have facilitated the coordination of the sports department and the achievement of collective goals, highlighting the promotion to the First Division in the 2024/2025 season and staying in the category during this season. 

Proactivity and stability in the First Division

Despite having achieved the objectives set with the squad led by Luis Castro, the sports management is focusing on the start of this new stage with an eye on market demands and medium-term planning.

The main goal for this second year in the top category is to consolidate a working methodology that grows year by year, in order to provide stability to the first team and strengthen Levante UD's project in the First Division of the Spanish football league, as well as to promote the youth academy, a pillar and priority project for the club.

Established experience at Levante UD

Héctor Rodas was a professional footballer for 15 years, with a career closely linked to Levante UD, complemented by his academic training as a graduate in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and as a Football Sporting Director. Meanwhile, Jose Manuel Pardo Gila coordinated the recruitment and data analysis area from 2019 until last year, when he became head of scouting.
