From June 18 to 21, the Buñol Sports City will host more than 70 teams from different countries.
The Levante UD International Cup celebrates its first edition from June 18 to 21 at the Levante UD Sports City and the Beltrán Báguena Field of CD Buñol. During these four days, more than 70 teams from different countries and categories —benjamín, alevín, infantil, cadete, juvenil, female, and genuine— will gather at this tournament to enjoy a unique sports experience.
The tournament was created with the aim of bringing together clubs and associated academies from the international area of Levante UD in a competitive environment, with participants coming from Europe, America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. This event not only reinforces the granota entity's commitment to the growth of its international project but also combines football, training, and entertainment for all attendees.
“This is a project we have been developing for a long time because the international area of Levante UD is increasingly gaining presence worldwide. The tournament aims to bring together all those agreements, partnerships, and collaborations we have abroad so they can compete at our home, at the Levante UD Sports City,” explains Daniel Pastor, director of the international area of Levante UD.
The sports facilities in Buñol are the stage for the competition
The Levante UD Sports City will become the competitive hub of the tournament and will host all matches, from the group stages to the playoffs and finals. At the same time, the Beltrán Báguena Field will also host some group stage matches. In this way, the facilities will provide the ideal setting for participants to compete and coexist in an environment marked by cultural exchange and the values upheld by Levante UD.
Inaugural ceremony at the Estadi Ciutat de València
One of the most notable moments of the tournament will take place on June 19 with the opening ceremony to be held at the Estadi Ciutat de València starting at 9:00 PM. The event will bring together all participating teams in a special day that will serve as the official welcome to this first edition in front of families and fans. An iconic moment that will mark the experience for the more than 1,000 expected players.
The general public will be able to enter through the gate known as ‘El mos del fotut,’ located between gates 18 and 19, while players will enter through the gate next to gate 45, near the Raconet.
Access to the tournament and updated match information
To access the venue, it will be necessary to purchase an access wristband. The pass for the four days will cost 20 euros, with a special promotion reducing the cost to 10 euros per unit for purchases of three or more wristbands. Additionally, throughout this week, Levante UD will make an app available to attendees where they can check schedules, rosters, and competition results in real time.
Much more than football
The Levante UD International Cup will also offer a wide range of complementary activities. Participants will be able to enjoy tourist visits to the city and the Estadi Ciutat de València, water parks, and training sessions with the granota entity's staff.
And that's not all; attendees at the matches will also find leisure areas at the Levante UD Sports City with inflatables, food trucks, and various entertainment options that will contribute to creating a festive atmosphere during the four days of competition.
