Levante UD consolidates its international tournament with this first edition in Buñol
The first edition of the Levante UD International Cup has come to a close, exceeding all possible expectations. The tournament has established itself as a true celebration of youth football, confirming the success of an event born with a vision for the future.
The numbers from this inaugural edition speak for themselves: a total of 82 teams and more than 1,000 players filled the fields of the Buñol Sports City and the Beltrán Báguena Field of CD Buñol with life, talent, and enthusiasm. This effort was further supported by the tireless encouragement of over 2,000 family members in the stands, bringing color, sportsmanship, and an unbeatable atmosphere to the tournament.
An impeccable example of organization and logistics
The organization and logistical management were flawless, completing the tournament without a single incident and with absolute normality in the scheduling.
The activity on the fields was frenetic: the competition kicked off on Thursday with 44 matches; on Friday afternoon, another 34 games were played, serving as a prelude to the grand welcome party held at the Ciutat de València Stadium, which was a resounding success in terms of participation and camaraderie among clubs. Saturday saw the peak of activity with an astonishing 90 matches, concluding on Sunday with the final 25 decisive games.
Undoubtedly, the most valuable aspect of the weekend was witnessing the happiness on the faces of the young footballers, the sportsmanship shared among delegations from different places, and the intense days of camaraderie that brought all the participating clubs together.
