The Valencian defender will remain linked to the Granota club until 2029.
Levante UD and Alma Velasco have reached an agreement to extend the player's contract with the club for the next three seasons, reinforcing their trust in a player who has been entirely developed in their youth academy.
The Valencian defender joined Levante UD at just 10 years old and, since then, has progressed through all the development stages until becoming, this past year, a player for the women's first team. Her growth within the "granota" academy has established her as one of the most representative examples of the academy's work.
The 2025/26 season marked an important step in Alma Velasco's career. For the first time, she was registered as a women's first-team player and participated in a total of 21 official matches. Additionally, the defender experienced one of the most special moments of her career when she debuted in Liga F as a starter against SD Eibar, completing 90 minutes at the heart of the defense after being part of several call-ups during the previous season.
Recently, the club recognized her career alongside other academy players who have spent a decade defending the blue and maroon badge, an award that highlights her commitment and development since joining the club.
Additionally, this year, the player received her first call-up to the senior Argentina national team. With dual nationality, the footballer took an important step in her international career by debuting with the Albiceleste in a resounding 8-0 victory against Bolivia, as part of the CONMEBOL Nations League.
"For me, Levante is my home because I've been here since my first year as an under-11 player. It's a club with a lot of history and means everything to me right now. I am grateful for the trust the club has shown in giving me the opportunity to renew for three more years and, also, the chance to help return this badge to where it deserves to be, which is in the First Division," Alma Velasco expressed with gratitude.
