Javi Aguado spoke ahead of the match that Levante UD will play this Saturday, when they visit FC Barcelona B's home in the sixth round of the Primera Federación.

Levante UD Femenino returns to competition this weekend after three weeks without playing a match. The international break and the suspension of the previous match due to the weather alert, along with the league break, have interrupted the good momentum the team was experiencing. Javi Aguado hopes the team can regain its rhythm and return to the level it was reaching before this period: "We were doing well, we were feeling comfortable, especially in terms of play and the scoring opportunities we were creating," commented the coach, who added: "We hope to now get back into the swing of things this month, which is going to be very exciting, with many matches."

The return will be against FC Barcelona B, one of the teams that has set the pace in the league in recent seasons. Aguado expects a challenging match: "They are a very tough opponent, on a very difficult field. We have to be at our best because if we start making mistakes or if we don't feel comfortable, it will be very hard for us," he said. Moreover, despite a new match in the Copa de la Reina arriving in Buñol on Wednesday, the coach insists that the focus is solely on the league return: "It makes no sense to think about Wednesday's match considering what we have tomorrow, which is going to be an opponent that will demand us to be at one hundred percent."

The team wants to dedicate a victory to Sara Martínez

The recent anterior cruciate ligament injury of Sara Martínez has been a blow to the Levante squad. "We miss her a lot in training, especially because of everything she brings to the team," explained Javi Aguado. The coach is confident that, after her surgery this Tuesday, her recovery will progress favorably and that the team can find in her another reason to keep giving their best: "It has to be another source of motivation and another reason to give her the joy she so deserves."
