Javier Aguado has been introduced as the coach of Levante UD Femenino in a press conference where he was accompanied by the club's president, Pablo Sánchez.

The Boardroom of the Ciutat de València Stadium hosted the official presentation of Javier Aguado as the new coach of Levante UD Femenino. During the event, the club's president, Pablo Sánchez, described the appointment of the Alicante-born coach as a "star signing" to take on the challenge of returning the team to the top division. "We are Levante UD, and we must return to Primera División,” reiterated the president, who expressed confidence that it will be an exciting and beautiful season.

Javier Aguado approaches what will be his second stint with the granota club, after serving as assistant coach during the 2021/22 season, with enthusiasm and responsibility. "I wanted to return to a historic club like Levante as the head coach of the first team," he explained while reiterating that his goal was always to come back to the club after growing professionally outside of it.

A clearly defined identity

The new coach has acknowledged the importance of the challenge ahead, although he has preferred to speak of excitement rather than pressure. "More than pressure, I would like to call it excitement or responsibility. We have the excitement and the demand to return to Liga F,” he stated before assuring that "this is one of the most important seasons in the club's history, because from day one we have to compete at the highest level."

In relation to sports planning, Aguado has explained that work is already underway with the players who will join in the coming weeks and has highlighted the balance of the squad between youth and experience. The new coach has also stated that the team will have a defined identity: "attractive, bold football with a clear offensive vocation". Additionally, he has emphasized the importance and role that the youth academy will assume in the new project.
