Julián Calero reaches 50 matches as coach of Levante UD

Julián Calero reached 50 matches as head coach of Levante UD last Saturday against Getafe CF. A journey with the Levante club filled with enthusiasm, hard work, and effort that has allowed him to bring the team back to LALIGA EA SPORTS and fulfill his dream of coaching in the top tier of Spanish football.

On June 8, 2024, Julián Calero's appointment as Levante UD's head coach was made official. The coach arrived at the Orriols club with a direct message aimed at restoring hope and confidence to Levante fans: “Everything will turn out well.” During the season, the team and the fans became one, and their unity was key to fighting for a single goal: returning to the First Division. A few months later, on May 25, 2025, Julián Calero fulfilled his promise with direct promotion to the top tier, and, moreover, a week later, the team was crowned champion of LALIGA HYPERMOTION.

The match played last Saturday at the Coliseum Stadium against Getafe CF was special for the coach as he reached the milestone of 50 matches in charge of Levante UD. This half-century of matches includes 49 league games and 1 Copa SM El Rey match, with a record of 23 wins, 15 draws, and 12 losses.
