The RFEF informs Levante UD of a new postponement of the SM El Rey Cup match against Pontevedra CF

The Royal Spanish Football Federation has informed Levante UD of the decision to once again postpone the SM El Rey Cup match that the Levante team was due to play this Thursday at 8pm against Pontevedra CF at the Pasarón Municipal Stadium.

We remember that this match was to be played on October 30 and, due to the serious consequences and damage suffered by the province of Valencia by DANA, the RFEF postponed said meeting to this Thursday.

After the conversations held this morning between Levante UD and the Royal Federation, due to the difficult situation that is being experienced in the province of Valencia, and understanding that football is relegated to the background in these difficult times, the SM El Rey Cup match is set for Tuesday, November 19 at 8:00 p.m.

At Levante UD we understand that attention and help must be focused on collaborating and reinforcing the work being carried out by emergency services and volunteers and continuing to offer our support to all of them, as well as to all the people affected by this catastrophe.

Likewise, we appreciate the sensitivity and understanding of the RFEF and Pontevedra CF for the postponement of the match.
