Levante UD and Club América have reached an agreement to formalize the transfer of Carlos Álvarez.

The midfielder joined the Orriols club in 2023 to strengthen the team in LALIGA Hypermotion with the goal of returning to the top division. In his first season, the Granota team came close to promotion, but in the following campaign, Carlos Álvarez became one of the main architects of Levante UD's return to the First Division.

The player concludes his time as a Levante player after playing a total of 105 matches in which he scored 14 goals and provided 14 assists. These numbers will forever be tied to one of the most important moments in the club's recent history. May 25, 2025, at El Plantío. That afternoon, in the 96th minute, the Sevillian's goal sparked euphoria and gave Levante UD a victory that allowed them to celebrate their return to the top division.
