Jon Ander Olasagasti scored his first goal last Sunday at the Ciutat de València Stadium, his second as a Levante player. The player highlights the team's progression at the start of the league and the squad's desire to keep improving aspects to continue growing.

The midfielder recalls the victory against Real Betis Balompié as “a delight,” especially for the way they reconnected with the Levante fans. “The fact of returning home with your people and being able to achieve the first victory of the season, in that way and against such a tough team as Betis, the truth is that we are very happy, very united and eager to return to keep proving that we can,” he states.

The bond between the team and the fans was one of the keys to achieving the goal of staying in the league last season. Olasagasti acknowledges that the support of Levante fans continues to be fundamental. “The last part of last season was spectacular. You went home, and you knew they would always be there. They cheered you on, pushed you during tough moments, and this year has started the same way. Thanks to them, we also achieved this first home victory,” he comments.

The fifth and final goal of the match bore his signature. Although he feels “happy” for having scored, the midfielder prioritizes the collective performance. “I’ll take the victory, and hopefully, there will be many more,” he assures. Olasagasti also highlights the team's evolution at the start of the league and the squad's desire to keep progressing: “We’ve gone from less to more. It’s true that the first match wasn’t very good, but we have to keep correcting details. This last match was good, but there are always things to improve, so we can’t relax and must be clear that if we don’t always approach it this way, it’s very difficult.”

Málaga CF will be the next opponent for Levante, a team looking for its first win of the season in front of its fans. The player is clear about how to approach the match: “In the First Division, all teams perform and compete. We have to do just as well as in the last match, correct the details, and go all out.”
