Levante UD and José Campaña Part Ways

José Campaña embarks on a new professional journey starting today after bidding farewell to what has been his home for the last eight seasons. During this period, he experienced significant football growth and, on a personal level, underwent a transformative phase by establishing roots in Valencia with his family.

The midfielder joined Levante UD in 2016 and, since then, has donned the blue and garnet jersey in over 200 official matches, scoring 19 goals. He played a crucial role in pivotal moments, including the promotion to La Liga in 2017. Additionally, he experienced one of the most anticipated moments for any player during his time as a "granota": the call-up to the Spanish national team.

At the end of the last season, Campaña faced one of the toughest challenges of his sports career. In April, during a match against UD Las Palmas, he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture in his right knee. Despite concluding his contractual relationship with the club on June 30, Levante UD made its facilities and medical services available to aid in his recovery, surrounded and supported by his Levante family.

Today, José Campaña has embarked on a new professional adventure with UD Las Palmas, and Levante UD wishes him the best of luck. The club expresses gratitude for everything he contributed to both on and off the pitch, acknowledging his hard work, professionalism, and dedication. Good luck, José!
