The International Training Area of Levante UD has developed an ID Talent Haiti in Port-au-Prince in collaboration with FC Ruben Haiti. FC Ruben Haiti carries out significant social and educational work, using football as a tool to provide support, training, and opportunities to Haitian children and youth, as well as facilitating, through its foundation, access to aid for continuing their studies.

During the event, more than 100 players, born in the categories 2008-2009, 2010-2011, 2012-2013, and 2014-2015, participated and had the opportunity to train and work under the methodology and training criteria of Levante UD.

One of the most significant aspects of the project was also the training aimed at local coaches. Over the course of three days, Levante UD developed a theoretical and practical training program in which more than 30 coaches participated, not only from FC Ruben Haiti but also from other clubs, associations, and academies in Port-au-Prince.

Through these sessions, the club was able to share its working methodology, concepts related to the different stages of player development, criteria for planning and developing training sessions, and various tools that can contribute to the growth of coaches and, by extension, local youth football.

Daniel Pastor, head of the International Training Area, stated that this part of the project is "especially important as it allows us to expand the impact of our presence in Haiti: not only working directly with the players but also training the coaches who will later continue developing hundreds of young people in their own clubs and academies."

The project also has an institutional dimension

During Levante UD's stay, which also received coverage in the local press, the club held various meetings to present the initiative and explore ways to continue creating opportunities for young Haitian talents. Among these, our visit to the Spanish Embassy in Port-au-Prince was particularly significant, where Levante representatives were able to present the training, sports, and social project developed during those days.

The goal of this initiative is to continue strengthening the international presence of Levante UD's training model, but especially to use football as a tool to create sports, educational, and personal opportunities for young Haitians in a particularly challenging context.
