The Granotas reunite with their fans more than a month later and secure three points against Real Unión Tenerife with goals from Dolores, Nuria, and Ari Arias.
The Levante players came out determined to score the first goal from the initial whistle and created chances of all kinds. However, as the minutes passed, Real Unión Tenerife also began to find spaces and approach the goal defended by Anna Álvarez. In one of their first attempts, Yoli was crucial in cutting off a play and preventing the Tenerife team from completing a quick transition down the right wing. Shortly after, they threatened again with a cross-shot that grazed the right post of the Levante goal. The Levante goalkeeper also had to intervene after a poor clearance left the ball on a platter for the opposing forward. The forward noticed the goalkeeper was off her line and attempted a shot, but the Peñiscola native reacted in time, backtracked, and securely caught the ball.
The home team did not stop looking for the goal. Dolores tried from the edge of the area, Alharilla attempted a cross-shot, and Nuria Escoms and Inés combined with a one-two that ended with a shot from the latter, already falling, which the goalkeeper saved. Ari Arias also found Carol Herrera with a beautiful backheel pass, who managed to take a shot, again saved by the visiting goalkeeper. Despite numerous attempts, the score remained unchanged, and the first 45 minutes ended with the home team lacking precision.
The second half began with Levante UD determined to find a reward for their persistence. Nuria Escoms struck from the edge of the area, but the defense deflected the shot. The rebound fell to Ari Arias, who fought for the ball between two defenders and managed to take a shot that hit the side netting in the 50th minute. Ten minutes later, the first goal of the morning finally arrived. Escoms took a shot that the goalkeeper punched away, but the ball remained loose, and Dolores Silva did not miss. With her right foot, she sent the ball into the back of the net, sparking joy in Buñol. Real Unión de Tenerife, for their part, did not give up and also forced Anna Álvarez to intervene. The goalkeeper responded confidently, first blocking a shot and then showing good reflexes to backtrack against a long-range attempt from an opponent who had noticed she was off her line. In another visiting attack, she was decisive again with her feet to prevent the Tenerife team from equalizing.
The team led by Javi Aguado looked to seal the victory, and they did just that. The second goal came through Nuria Morell just minutes after she entered the field. A cross from Carol found the player from Cheste, who made no mistake in making it 2-0 on the scoreboard. It was a very special goal as she opened her scoring account with Levante UD's first team. Ari Arias chased the goal throughout the match and finally found her reward in added time. After missing a penalty just minutes earlier, the Granota number 9 redeemed herself with a shot from the edge of the area that ended up in the back of the net, making it 3-0. In the final minute, Real Unión Tenerife managed to score to soften the result, but the three points already had an owner.
The Granotas thus secured an important victory in front of their fans thanks to goals from Dolores, Nuria Escoms, and Ari Arias, a win that allows them to remain at the top of the standings.
Levante UD Femenino now looks ahead to their next match, which will take place on Saturday, November 14, when they visit Real Sociedad B at 12:45 PM.
