Levante UD Futsal Showcases Youth Talent in Base Team Presentation

Levante UD Futsal showcased its commitment to youth development during the presentation of its base teams last Saturday before the match against Full Energia Zaragoza. In front of a devoted audience filling the stands of the Paterna Pavilion, a total of 14 teams paraded on the court, demonstrating CD Dominicos' commitment to the comprehensive development and training of its players.

Only the Juvenile Autonomic and the Third Division Filial teams were missing from the event due to sports commitments that prevented them from joining the rest of the teams.

More than 400 children making up the youth football school, along with their families, also witnessed the thrilling match between Levante UD FS and Full Energía Zaragoza, which ultimately ended in favor of the visitors with a 2-3 score, after overcoming the initial 2-0 lead by Márquez's team.

Levante UD Futsal History

It is worth noting that Levante UD added the futsal section to its structure in 2009 and, over the years, has become one of the most important in the country. Since their debut as "granotas" in the 09-10 season with the senior team newly promoted to National League A, the club has continued to grow. In the 11-12 season, it joined the silver division of LNFS, and in just two more seasons, it made the leap to the First Division. Since then, it has not stopped accumulating successes in its particular history with notable achievements such as its debut in the Champions League (21-22), runner-up in the League (20-21), semifinalist in the League (19-20), or outstanding participations in the Copa del Rey and Copa de España, where it also reached the semifinals in the 16-17 and 20-21 seasons.
