Levante UD and Álex Muñoz have reached an agreement, subject to a medical examination, for the player to join the Levante club until June 2024, with the option of one further season. The defender, who can act as either a central defender or left back, arrives on a free transfer and has permission from the club to arrive in Túria capital next Tuesday.

Álex Muñoz (30/7/1994, Alicante) played in the Hércules CF academy teams until reaching the first team to debut in the silver category during the 2012/2013 season. In 2016 he went on to defend the interests of Sevilla Atlético and in 2018 he joined Real Zaragoza. At the end of that season, he formalised his relationship with CD Tenerife, the club he has represented until now and with whom he played for promotion to the top league. The defender from Alicante has participated in 160 official matches in LaLiga SmartBank, has scored 11 goals and is considered one of the best players in his position in the category.
