Levante UD and Hernani Jorge Santos Forte (Lisbon, 20th August 1991) have reached an agreement to sign the player for the granota team for the next three seasons. The winger joins Levante from Oporto, where he played from winter 2015 onwards in the Liga NOS in his country. He has also played for Vitoria de Guimaraes. Elsewhere his career path also took him to Olympiacos for a year.

Hernani has played in 128 matches in the top league in Portugal and Cup games, in which he scored a total of 31 goals. He has also made 14 appearances in the Champions League, reaching the quarterfinals with the Portuguese team in this great European tournament in 2015.

Listed among his achievements are a Primeira Liga title and a Portuguese Supercup, as well as a Superliga in Greece.
