Levante UD and Real Betis Balompié have reached an agreement for the transfer of Sergio León (Palma del Río, Córdoba, 6th January 1989), who has signed for the granota team for the next three seasons.

Sergio León joins Levante UD after two years at Betis where he played 60 matches in the LaLiga Santander, King’s Cup and Europa League, during which time he scored 16 goals. Before that he played for Osasuna where he participated in 36 official matches, scoring 10 goals. Previously the player formed part of the academy at Elche (where he was top goal scorer in the silver league with 22 goals) as well as playing for Murcia, Llagostera and Reus.
