Eleven boys and girls from the Levante UD Foundation will accompany our players onto the field before today's derby at Mestalla. Yesterday, the boys and girls from both clubs enjoyed a joint sports clinic, which combined training, camaraderie, and surprises.

Thanks to the collaboration between LALIGA, BKT, and the two Valencian clubs, the pre-match will showcase an image full of symbolism: the union of sports with the values of inclusion, diversity, and community. In the case of Levante UD, eleven boys and girls with intellectual disabilities linked to the Levante UD Foundation will be responsible for accompanying the granotas players onto the field. On behalf of Valencia CF, eleven children from the Escoles Blanquinegres program affected by the DANA will accompany their players, a gesture that connects sports with the recent memory of the city and its resilience.

The action is part of a social responsibility activation driven by BKT, a multinational leader in the Off-Highway tire sector, and is supported by LALIGA and both clubs. The initiative highlights the role of football as a driver of transformation and as a space where all groups can feel represented.

Joint sports clinic

The day also had a very special prelude. Yesterday, Thursday, November 20, the boys and girls from both clubs enjoyed a joint sports clinic, which combined training, camaraderie, and surprises. The session was attended by two Valencian football icons: Miguel Tendillo, a legend of Valencia CF, and Héctor Rodas, a legend of Levante UD, who shared time, games, and learning with the children. At the end of the clinic, both LALIGA and BKT presented personalized gifts to each participant.

Levante UD, through its Foundation, thus reaffirms its commitment to people and to the values that build community both on and off the field. Initiatives like this show that football can be a meeting point capable of generating a positive impact and connecting clubs with the society they are part of.
