Levante UD has reached an agreement with Marcelo Saracchi (04/23/1998, Paysandú, Uruguay) for him to join the Levante club until 2024, with the option of three further seasons.

The defender began training in the lower categories of Danubio and in the 2017/2018 season he joined River Plate. A season later, he went to Germany to wear the RB Leipzig shirt and in the 2019/2020 campaign he travelled to Turkey to be a defender with Galatasaray.

With River Plate Marcelo Saracchi was part of the team who won the Argentine Cup and the Super Cup, in addition to winning the Copa Libertadores. Moreover, he was an international player in the lower categories of the Uruguayan National Team before reaching the top flight.

The player will be presented tomorrow, Wednesday, at 1:30 pm in the Press Room at the Ciutat de València Stadium
