Martin Krug expands his association with Levante UD
The defender commits to the club for two more seasons.
Levante UD and Martin Krug have reached an agreement to extend their contractual relationship until June 2028.
The Panamanian defender joined the Levante club in 2022 after the club's international training area identified his potential, along with that of his brother Frederick, during a tryout held in Chicago. Both joined the international program to continue their development. Two years later, in 2024, Martin advanced to Juvenil B, starting a progression that would soon lead him to Juvenil A and, that same year, to make his debut with Atlético Levante UD.
His growth did not stop there. After completing the preseason with the first team, on December 3rd, the defender fulfilled one of his dreams by officially debuting with the first team in the Copa SM El Rey match against CD Cieza.
On an international level, his progress has also been remarkable. In 2024, he debuted with Panama's senior national team and was recently called up again, participating in the first of two friendlies played against South Africa at the end of March.
