Olasagasti: "Being able to come back and take the three points at Balaídos has given us a lot of strength"
The player highlights the unity of the team and the fans.
Jon Ander Olasagasti, after the training session held this morning at the Sports City, spoke to the club's media to assess the important victory achieved last weekend, as well as the upcoming match on Sunday against RCD Mallorca and the role of the fans.
Regarding the victory in Vigo, the midfielder acknowledges that “it was a very tough match, in a very difficult stadium, they are in great form, and the truth is that being able to come back and take the three points at Balaídos has given us a lot of strength.” The team has managed to come back from adverse results in the last two matches. A fact that, for Olasagasti, has happened because “we have been a team at all times and we have always stayed united.”
Next Sunday, Levante UD will host RCD Mallorca. A clash between two direct rivals fighting in this final stretch for survival, where the role of the fans will be fundamental. “Playing at home with our fans, we have to feel that. They have always been with us, and it shows a lot. For us, that is a ‘boost,’ and we have to prove that we are worthy and deserve to be here. Even though things haven’t gone well, the fans have been there, they have always supported us, and that helps us a lot,” he added.
