Pablo Campos signed his renewal with Levante UD last week, a club with great significance for him and with which, this season, he has been able to make his debut in the top division.

With a smile on his face, the Granota goalkeeper has expressed feeling “very happy” about the renewal because “it was my wish, what I wanted.” “It’s the club that has given me everything and there’s nothing that makes me happier than staying here at home,” he acknowledged.

Pablo saw how the dream of any youth player, debuting with the first team, became a reality last August 16 in Vitoria. An achievement that makes him feel “very proud because I’ve spent my whole life fighting for this, since I joined here at the age of 12. Fulfilling it and in the First Division is a source of pride because you remember all the hard work and tough moments you’ve been through.” Last Saturday, he also had the chance to make his debut at the Ciutat de València surrounded by his loved ones. “It was very special because of the amazing atmosphere and because I had all my family and friends there. The result tarnished it, but it was a match I’ll never forget in my life,” he remarked.

After achieving that dream of reaching the first team and looking back, the goalkeeper is clear about what he would say to that boy who joined the Granota Academy at the age of 12: “Work very hard because dreams come true, trust the process, and with hard work and faith, everything is possible.”

Without a doubt, Levante UD has become the most important club for Pablo Campos and, as he acknowledges, “for me, it’s like my family.” “The feeling that any fan might have, I feel it too. It’s the club of my life and for me, on a sporting level, it’s everything because I’ve been here my whole life,” he concluded.
