Paco Cortés has addressed the media after training in the press room of the Ciudad Deportiva.

The footballer spoke about his return to Levante UD after the loan at Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa. “When the club's interest in me returning came, it was a joy for me because I was a player of the club and my dream has always been to be here,” he acknowledged. Furthermore, Paco admits that his experience with the León team was enriching: “I am young and I still have a lot to improve, but there I learned many things about the aspects of the game. I come with more experience and eager to try to contribute to the team.”

Last Saturday, the Andalusian was able to fulfill his dream of debuting in the top category with the club that has seen him grow. A moment he remembers with great emotion. “It was an indescribable feeling to debut in the First Division with my Levante UD. I have been here since I was a child, and it is something I feel, something I cannot explain. Being able to debut at the Bernabéu as well is something that doesn’t happen every day,” he assures.

In this return to the granota team, the winger has reunited with players he has crossed paths with in the Cantera Granota, such as Kareem. For Paco Cortés, the focus on youth is an extra motivation for players from the lower categories. “Having a coach who bets on young players and gives us that confidence, so that we work hard every day because we see that we can have the possibility of being there, is a plus,” he acknowledged.
