The forward joins the club on loan from SS Lazio.
Petar Ratkov has become a new player for Levante UD after the agreement formalized with SS Lazio for his loan until the end of the season.
The forward (August 18, 2003, Belgrade) was trained in the youth categories of FK DIF Beograd before joining FK TSC Backa Topola. In the 2023/2024 season, he began a new chapter in Austria with Red Bull Salzburg, a club with which he debuted in European competitions such as the Champions League and the Europa League.
During his time with the Austrian team, Ratkov also achieved one of the most notable moments of his career by scoring the fastest goal in the Bundesliga. It was on February 17, 2024, against FC Blau-Weiß Linz, when he put his team ahead six seconds into the match. After playing 99 games and scoring 22 goals with Red Bull Salzburg, in January of this year, he joined SS Lazio. With the Italian team, he has participated in nine matches.
The new Levante forward is also a Serbian international. Ratkov has represented his country in the U-19 and U-21 categories, and on October 14, 2023, he debuted with the senior national team.
