PRESS CONFERENCE | Julián Calero: "We are ready for any fight"

Julián Calero has appeared before the media in the press conference prior to the match that Levante UD will play tomorrow, Friday, against Valencia CF at the Camp de Mestalla.

The coach wanted to address his fans to convey a message of confidence and security. “Let them feel safe, confident, and, of course, not feel inferior, but also let us be humble to know who we are. We have our limitations, but we are ready for any fight,” he stated. Julián Calero also emphasized the good harmony between the team and the fans and appealed to it for tomorrow's commitment: “In terms of the standings, the team is not in the positions we would like, but people are feeling that the team is giving its all, and we also feel that they are giving their all. So that unity tomorrow is fundamental.”

The coach also expressed his desire for the Valencian derby to be an example. “I would like it to be a day of celebration where all Valencians, from both sides, are able to come together and set an example of what a derby should be.”

On a sporting level, Julián Calero acknowledged that the match is “a good opportunity to reinforce the things we have been doing well and to win in a stadium where Levante UD has never won before, which we would really like.”
