PRESS CONFERENCE | Julián Calero: "We are teams that compete and don't give away absolutely anything."
The coach has spoken ahead of the match against Real Oviedo.
Julián Calero appeared this afternoon before the media in the press conference prior to the match that Levante UD will play tomorrow against Real Oviedo at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium.
The coach commented on the match, stating that “we are two newly promoted teams, who have had a similar start, not only in terms of results but also in the quality of the opponents we have faced.” For the coach, in both cases, “it is becoming clear that we are teams that compete and do not give anything away.” Therefore, he predicts a “difficult match at a Carlos Tartiere, which I know very well, that pushes and presses.”
In addition, Calero believes that the victory achieved by Real Oviedo last Tuesday has strengthened their “confidence and assurance in what they are doing.”
Despite this, the Levante UD coach acknowledges that they approach the match “with confidence and the calmness that the players are improving more and more, or at least that is the feeling we are getting.”
