PRESS CONFERENCE | Julián Calero: "We go with enthusiasm, without fear, with courage and determination"

Julián Calero appeared this afternoon at the press conference ahead of the match that Levante UD will play tomorrow, Saturday, against Atlético de Madrid.

The coach has called for the courage with which his team must face the challenge at the Riyadh Air Metropolitan Stadium. “They are already very strong, if you make yourself small, you have no chance,” he stated. Therefore, Calero has assured that Levante UD faces the match “with enthusiasm, without fear, with courage and determination.”

The defeat against RC Celta is already in the past, and the coach is focused on looking forward: “I think the team has recovered well mentally. We are going with desire, enthusiasm, and we know where we are going. I have asked my players to have a certain degree of courage and show personality to compete well.”

For the coach, the chances of obtaining a positive result in Madrid depend on “doing many things, doing them well, doing a good job, and above all, believing in what we propose.” Furthermore, Julián Calero emphasized that these matches “require special handling, not just anything or any way will do.”
