Luís Castro has appeared before the media in the press conference prior to the match that Levante UD will play tomorrow, Saturday, against Atlético de Madrid.

The coach, questioned about the evolution of the rojiblanco team compared to last season, highlighted the growth of the Madrid team, both collectively and individually. “They are better than last year, they have more solutions,” he stated.

In this regard, Luís Castro explained that Atlético has retained its most decisive players and has added important footballers, which, in his opinion, has raised the level of the squad. “They haven’t lost key players, and when you don’t sell your best and bring in other important ones, you’re sure to improve,” he noted. Additionally, the coach highlighted the tactical evolution of his rival, which now has more alternatives and variations in their gameplay. “Tactically, they have more solutions, more variables than they had last year,” he pointed out.

For all these reasons, the granota coach considers that Atlético de Madrid is “stronger, and that’s why they have only lost one match so far in LALIGA.”
