PRESS CONFERENCE | Luís Castro: "We are there, but we have to finish and give our best to try to win the match."

Luís Castro has appeared before the media in the press conference prior to the match that Levante UD will play tomorrow against Real Betis Balompié.

The Levante team arrives at this final matchday depending on themselves to achieve the goal of staying in the league. A scenario that the coach acknowledges is the one he wanted. “We depend on ourselves, we have ninety minutes to play a good match, to try to do our best. Reaching this point with the possibility of achieving the goal is good. Very few thought we would be here. We are here, but we have to finish, we have to do it, and give our maximum to try to win the match,” he commented.

The Granota coach is clear that his team must focus solely and exclusively on their match against Real Betis Balompié. “The players know that we have worked hard to reach the final matchday with the chance to achieve the goal. We are not looking at combinations because those are things you cannot control. What we can control is a match against a very strong team, which hasn’t lost at home since 2025 in LALIGA, and you have to stay focused because they are very good, and you have to be at one hundred percent.”
