The Ciutat de València prepares for matchday 33 of the EA Sports League, filled with recognitions. Before the ball starts rolling at 7:00 PM, the granota coliseum will host a series of events that highlight both the current sporting success and the rich history of our club.

Honorary kick-off: Sheila Martínez, four-time European champion

The most powerful moment of the pre-match events was led by Sheila Martínez. The Valencian boxer and symbol of granota pride performed the honorary kick-off after recently making history by being crowned, for the fourth time, Featherweight European Champion. Sheila, who regularly wears the Levante UD colors in each of her international fights, received the warm support of her fans in recognition of her career in the ring.

Dela: 100 matches of granota commitment

The evening also began with the celebration of a significant milestone for the current squad. The club paid tribute to Dela for reaching the milestone of 100 official matches wearing the Levante UD jersey. The center-back received recognition for his consistency and dedication, establishing himself as one of the team's key players in recent seasons.

Salvador Mut: a historical link between Levante and Sevilla

Historical memory has taken a privileged place in the VIP Box with the exhibition dedicated to Salvador Mut. The legendary goalkeeper represents the perfect link between the two clubs. Through images and original documents, attendees have been able to take a journey through the career of a key figure in understanding the relationship between Valencians and Sevillians. Mut himself, honored guest of both clubs, received a small joint tribute to highlight his legacy as a goalkeeper, and both Sevilla FC and Levante UD gifted him jerseys, one with the number he wore and the other with the 152 matches he played.

Values and overcoming with Guillermo Barón

As in every matchday, an athlete from Levante UD EDI was in charge of placing the ball on the pedestal. On this occasion, the great applause was for Guillermo Barón, a gesture symbolizing the club's unwavering commitment to inclusion and the values of our football section for people with intellectual disabilities.
