Levante UD saw their dream of promotion to the First Division become a reality after coming from behind to win against Burgos CF 3-2 in a match in which the home side had twice taken the lead. Morales, Roger Brugué, and Carlos Álvarez scored the goals for Levante, with the latter providing the crucial comeback victory that earned the Granota side promotion to the top flight.
