A large group of youth academy players are working under the orders of Luís Castro
The Granota Academy once again demonstrates its significance within Levante UD during the preseason. While the team led by Luis Castro prepares for the start of LaLiga at the Ciudad Deportiva, the presence of players trained in the club's youth categories has become one of the most notable aspects of daily work.
Currently, nine players with a past in the Granota Academy are part of the first team. In addition to them, a large group of young players regularly participates in first-team training sessions, showcasing the club's commitment to homegrown talent.
Among the academy players working under Luís Castro these days are Alberto Calatrava, Asier Herrera, Dani Cervera, Ihor Galdin, Manel Usedo, Marc Santos, Martin Krug, and Huseini Nakoha. Meanwhile, Álex Primo, Carlos Espí, Edgar Alcañiz, Jorge Cabello, Kareem Tunde, Nacho Pérez, Pablo Campos, Paco Cortés, and Xavi Grande have completed their formative stage and are now full members of the Levante first team.
The presence of the Granota Academy also extends to the technical staff. Assistant Vicente Iborra, goalkeeping coach Dani Ayora, fitness coach Vicente Benítez, and analyst Carlos García are some of the professionals who have developed their careers within the club's structure.
The prominence of the academy this preseason reflects the constant work carried out in the youth categories with an eye on the future, enhancing training and homegrown talent under the values that define Levante UD.
