Starting at 9:15 PM, the storm intensified significantly over the Orriols field area, flooding the pitch. Given the rapid deterioration of weather conditions, at 9:30 PM, the official announcement of the definitive suspension of the match was made.

The Levante fans gradually left the stands in an orderly manner to take shelter in the lower areas of the stadium, where they waited for the rain to subside before leaving the premises safely.
