Levante UD qualified to play in the Round of 32 of the Copa SM El Rey after defeating CD Cieza at the La Arboleja Stadium. After a first half in which both teams had chances to break the deadlock, the goal that decided the match came in the second half from Koyalipou.

The first clear chance of the match occurred seven minutes in with a corner kick taken by Vencedor. The defense cleared the ball, which was picked up by Cabello.
