Víctor García, after returning to training, spoke about how the locker room values the draw achieved against RCD Espanyol, as well as the team's current form and how they are approaching the next match against Villarreal CF.

The Valencian player acknowledges that, after the draw at the RCDE Stadium, “we left frustrated, especially after the two chances we had before the end of the match.” The team has managed to string together three consecutive matches without conceding a goal, a fact that Víctor García has highlighted. “It’s a very important factor, defending well, staying in the game, and the team has taken a step forward in these last few matches,” he explains.

Regarding the positive feelings with which Levante UD is approaching the final stretch, the player admits that “the team is competing well in every match against all opponents and is full of confidence and completely committed to achieving the goal.”

The Levante players already have their sights set on their next opponent, Villarreal CF. For Víctor García, “they are one of the surprise teams this year.” Therefore, he anticipates a “challenging” match. “At home, they are strong, but we are also in a good moment. In the first-leg match, we competed very well against them; it was a very even game. We will try to make it a competitive match, stay in the game, work hard, and go for the three points,” he comments.

Finally, the player referred to the 12th man, the fans. “For us, they are a very important factor. You can see in the home games that the team is giving that extra energy and focus. I know many will go to Vila-real, and I’m sure they will support us. We will be delighted to give them the victory,” he states.
