Not even thirty seconds had passed since the initial whistle when Luismi sparked the first 'ooh' from the stands at the Ciudad Deportiva de Buñol. Just a few minutes later, the winger once again became the main protagonist in Atlético Levante UD's attack with a shot that struck the body of the opposing goalkeeper. CD Buñol tried to respond to the local attempts with a play down the left flank, but Asier Herrera caught it without any trouble.

 

The game progressed as Álvaro del Moral's team continued to hover around the opponent's area. When the scoreboard showed the 20th minute, Marc Santos took a free kick that Huseini managed to head, though his header went wide. Alejandro Herranz excited the crowd with a run down the left wing that he finished with a shot that forced the CD Buñol goalkeeper to dive low to prevent Atlético Levante UD from taking the lead.

 

After the restart, Álvaro del Moral sought to shake up the game by bringing in fresh legs. Past the hour mark, the granota team tried to capitalize on the momentum with a promising play down the right wing, which, however, they failed to execute effectively. Shortly after, Luismi tried again, just as he had in the first half. The attacker did not give up and took another shot, but it skimmed past the post.

 

In the final minutes, the match became more physical and competitive, with some actions even pushing the limits, such as the one involving the visiting team after a harsh tackle on Aaron Murenzi, which led to a rival player being sent off. The numerical disadvantage spurred CD Buñol, who launched themselves in search of the goal to tip the balance, although the granota defense kept the local attacks at bay. Atlético Levante UD also did not give up on seeking victory and tried to find spaces down the right flank, but the match ended in a goalless draw.
