Dana Benítez's first goal as a Levante player came in Buñol and helped pave the way for Levante UD Femenino's 2-1 victory over Sport Extremadura.

Levante UD Femenino once again proved strong at home against a Sport Extremadura team that forced them to work until the end. "We knew that in this category anyone is going to fight and challenge us. But we knew we had to be strong at home, that no points could slip away from us here," explained Dana Benítez. The Madrid midfielder scored the first goal for Levante, marking her debut as a scorer for the team: "I'm very happy, honestly, I'm super proud. This goal is for the whole team, and we have to keep going and keep working."

Sport Extremadura managed to unsettle Levante UD by equalizing the match, but the Levante team kept their composure and successfully regained control of the game. "I think that when they scored, they felt more comfortable on the field. And that made things more difficult for us, it was a bit harder. But in the end, we managed to stay calm, take a pause, and control the game well," said Dana, who also reflected on the missed opportunities in attack created in the final stretch: "Sooner or later, the goals will come. We need to be patient and calm. Keep going, keep creating chances, and they will surely come."

The victory also provides a morale boost ahead of the Second Round of the Copa de la Reina next Wednesday against Alhama CF: "Emotionally, mentally, this is really good for us. This helps us grow a lot mentally." Finally, Dana also expressed her gratitude for the support of the fans in Buñol: "It's an honor that they come here every weekend to support us.
