I was really looking forward to competing again. It was a short period of time, but you always want to compete, to be with the team, and contribute as much as possible."

Being out also allowed him to experience matches from another perspective and to value even more the opportunity to help on the pitch. "When you're out, you learn to value everything much more," the forward assured.
