Atlético Levante UD begins the competition this weekend

Atlético Levante UD will begin the competition this weekend. They will do so as visitors, on Sunday at 7:15 PM, at the home of UD Castellonense.

Álvaro del Moral's team will kick off the league championship this first weekend of September after finishing the preseason with good feelings. The granota team has played a total of seven friendly matches during this preparation phase for the start of the competition, in which they remained undefeated, achieving six victories and one draw while conceding only one goal.

The Levante players began the preseason with a victory at the home of CD Contestano thanks to goals from Cala, Freddy, Ethan, Herranz, Luismi, Chris, Brandon, and Rosón. Their first home match was played against Ribarroja CF, where they won with goals from Kareem and Dylan. The only draw came in the third match against Atlético Saguntino (1-1, Pablo Rosón), and once again, the azulgranas returned to the path of victory against CD Utiel (0-1, Luismi), UD Alzira (1-0, Afner), CD Buñol (0-2, Kareem, Ethan), and Torrent CF (1-0, Brandon).

On Sunday at 7:15 PM, they will visit UD Castellonense to play the first matchday of the league competition.
