The opening minutes were marked by an initial feeling-out period where both teams tried to take the initiative. Atlético Levante UD created dangerous chances, even managing to score a goal that was ultimately disallowed due to an offside position by Javi Alonso. However, the reserve team was not the only one approaching the opponent's area, as CD Utiel grew into the game as it progressed. After the first quarter of an hour, Joao made a great save to prevent the home team from taking the lead. The reaction from Álvaro del Moral's team to that local attempt was immediate: Luismi dribbled past an opponent and, in the 18th minute, slotted the ball into the net.

The goal from the reserve team did not change the course of the match. While CD Utiel intermittently hovered around the Levante goal, forcing Joao to make a great save, Atlético Levante UD gradually took control of the ball. After the half-hour mark, Luismi looked for his second goal, but the opposing goalkeeper caught the ball without difficulty. Once again, the '11' of the team tried after a great cross from Aitor, but the first half ended with a 0-1 scoreline.

The second goal for the reserve team came after the restart through Javi Alonso, who capitalized on a poor clearance by the opposing team to extend the lead. The Madrid attacker enjoyed another double chance in the 71st minute, though this time without success. With ten minutes left before the final whistle, Joao once again shone in goal, blocking a powerful shot from the opposition after a corner. In added time, David Robles sealed the match by scoring the third goal, marking his debut as a scorer for the reserve team.

The next match for Atlético Levante UD will be on Saturday, October 17, when they host SC Torrevieja CF at the Buñol Sports City at 12:00 PM.
