Levante UD achieved a victory of great value at their home, the Ciutat de València, against Getafe CF in a match where Luís Castro's team dominated all aspects of the game from start to finish. Both teams dreamed of victory with very different objectives, but in the end, the Levante players, despite the difficulties, believed, trusted in their abilities, and managed to secure the win.

The "granota" team made their intentions clear very early. Within five minutes, Kareem Tunde struck a powerful shot against the crossbar, making the locals' intentions evident. However, the match could have taken a turn just two minutes later when the referee showed a red card to Carlos Espí after a highly contested action. After a VAR review, the referee overturned the initial decision and downgraded it to a yellow card. Levante UD quickly recovered from this minor scare and continued with their game plan, seeking the opposing goal. Luís Castro's team tried with crosses and constant attacks. Kareem Tunde tried again with a shot deflected by Iglesias that ended in a corner. The local dominance was evident.

Around the first half-hour mark, the Levante players found the net through Pablo Martínez, but the goal was disallowed for offside. Minutes later, they almost succeeded with a free kick taken by the captain himself, which Dela headed. David Soria caught the ball.

The Valencian team dominated the game and created the clearest chances, but they were unable to reflect that superiority on the scoreboard. Both teams went into halftime with the score still at 0-0.

After the restart, Levante UD came out strong with a good chance created by Raghouber and Carlos Espí. The Frenchman assisted the forward, whose shot went over the crossbar. Shortly after, the locals had the opportunity to take the lead when the referee awarded a penalty after a foul on Iván Romero inside the box. Dela's penalty kick was saved by David Soria. The "granota" team quickly recovered and continued dominating, pressing towards the opponent's area. Their good play, effort, and sacrifice were rewarded in the final moments of the match after a pass inside the box from Manu Sánchez to Carlos Espí. The forward headed the ball powerfully into the back of the net. Players and fans went wild. What they had so deserved was finally reflected on the scoreboard.

The final minutes of the game remained, and Luís Castro's team was determined not to let the opportunity to secure these crucial three points slip away. Injury time arrived, along with the expulsion of Romero, a Getafe CF player, and a penalty in favor of Levante UD. Iván Romero took the penalty, but once again, David Soria saved the shot.

Time ran out, and the "granota" team celebrated a well-deserved victory that allows them to continue fighting for survival.
