Etta Eyong appeared this afternoon at a press conference to give his first statements as a Levante UD player to the media.
The forward explained the reason that led him to choose the Levante option to continue his sports career. “I wanted to come here because I liked the club's project. It is a club that seeks to stay in the First Division, and I also seek to progress in my career. I have chosen Levante UD as the best option for me, to grow and help the team grow,” he stated.
When asked if he has set a specific goal-scoring target, the Cameroonian prioritized the collective interest over the individual: “The most important thing is to be able to help the team because goals come when the team is doing well. First, help the team and then think about personal goals.”
Etta Eyong will meet his new fans this Sunday in the match that the granota team will play against Real Betis Balompié. An event the attacker is eagerly anticipating. “The only thing I can ask is that this Sunday they come and support us. I have come to enjoy the matches with them. We are going to try to give our best, and personally, also my best, to try to bring joy to the fans who come this Sunday to support us,” he assured.
