Levante UD and RC Celta de Vigo have agreed on the loan of Hugo Sotelo until the end of the current season.

Born in Vigo on December 19, 2003, Hugo Sotelo is a midfielder trained in the academy of RC Celta de Vigo, where he completed his development stages until reaching professional football. The player made his official competition debut with the first team of Celta on May 16, 2021, in a LALIGA match against FC Barcelona, and since then, he has been gaining experience at the highest level. Over his career, he has accumulated a total of 64 matches in the top division and seven appearances in the Europa League, a competition in which he debuted last season.

Additionally, the footballer has been an international player with the Spain U-21 National Team.

With his move to Levante UD, Hugo Sotelo will face his first professional experience away from his hometown.

The midfielder will meet his new teammates this afternoon at the training ground, where he will begin working under coach Luís Castro to prepare for the start of the championship.
