Iván Romero will experience a very special match this Thursday against Sevilla FC. The forward has spoken about how the team is approaching this commitment and what the feelings are in the locker room during this final stretch of the season.

The player acknowledges that the squad has felt the week drag on after playing their last match on Monday and "is very eager to compete." Regarding that game against Getafe CF, Iván Romero points out that "the result was close, but the team did many things well." For this reason, he assures that confidence in their work is at its peak and "we want Thursday's match to come already so we can try to win again."

The Levante team has become strong at home, where they have won three of their last four matches. A fact that the '9' granota admits is benefiting them. "The first half of the season was a bit more challenging for us at home. Now that we are doing well, we have to try to take advantage of it. I think we are doing things very well, not just in terms of gameplay, but in most aspects, both offensively and defensively, which we are working on here and then translating onto the field. We have to keep going in this direction to earn as many points as possible and try to reach our goal," he comments.

Regarding Thursday's match against Sevilla FC, Iván Romero anticipates a "very tough match with their coaching change. We know they are very strong defensively, have very good transitions, and excellent players." For the forward, it will be a special duel because "there are six or seven players I played with in the youth and reserve teams of Sevilla FC. You lose that communication with them because everyone has their own things, but it's always good to see people you played with in the past and see that the friendship is still there."

The 12th player, the fans, will once again play a fundamental role this Thursday from the stands. The player is clear about it: "We need the fans, as always." Despite the match being played on a weekday, Iván knows that Levante supporters never fail. "These matches we've played during the week, I find it extraordinary that so many people come on a day like this when people are working. The effort they make gives us an extra boost when we are fatigued, tired, or things aren't going well. Having that push from the fans makes us always give a little more and brings us much closer to victory."
