PRESS CONFERENCE | Luís Castro: "It will be a very intense match from both teams, and we will try to be better than them."
The coach has appeared ahead of the match against Sevilla FC.
Luís Castro has appeared before the media in the press conference ahead of tomorrow's match between Levante UD and Sevilla FC.
The coach described tomorrow's match as "just another game," but without downplaying its importance. "The Sevilla FC match was the first game we played since we arrived here. We were ten points behind them, and now we could be just one game away. More than ever, we have to believe it's possible. These are three points we have to win," he stated.
Regarding the opponent, the coach acknowledged that, with the change of coach, "we don't have as much information as we would like to have, but from the little we've seen, it's a team that doesn't take many risks at the back. They play a game with less risk and more verticality." Luís Castro anticipates a demanding match because Sevilla FC "is very focused on their objectives, they are fighting hard. We know it's going to be a very intense match from both teams, and we are going to try to be better than them."
Regarding the team's good form at the Ciutat de València, the coach assures that the role of the fans has been fundamental. "When I talk to the staff and the players, I tell them that we are playing with an extra player here at home. Everyone is believing, we are too within the club, and there is a synergy between all the fans, staff, and players that is giving us an advantage in every match, and we want to continue like this," he commented.
